Manila FAME turns 60

Manila FAME, the country’s premier design and lifestyle event, once again unveils the modern Filipino’s design sensibility and brings together promising talents and seasoned artisans all under one roof in its 60th edition at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex.

Each edition of Manila FAME features various programs aiming to position the Philippines as an ideal sourcing hub of finely crafted products for the local and global market. Among the event highlights this October are Design Philippines Scenography, ‘Be Our Guest’: A Table Accessories Showcase, Manila Wear, NeoTextiles Philippines, Red Box (Home), OTOP Marketplace, International Hall, and Modernizing the Masters.

Manila FAME is one of the longest running trade shows in the Asia Pacific, and is the only trade event in the country approved by the Union des Foires Internationales (UFI), the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry. It is organized by CITEM, the export promotions arm of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).

Don’t be too basic, I know white long sleeves polo is very clean and proper for special events, but try wearing white long sleeves with small details on it so it wouldn’t look boring, as well as with the necktie.

Here’s what I wore yesterday after the Star Magic Ball… joke! haha! Here’s what I wore a few weeks ago for my defense. I will definitely try my best to wear a proper corporate attire next time, I’m still not comfortable with it haha! Speaking of Star Magic Ball, I saw a lot of posts on my twitter, and a photo of Daniel Padilla caught my attention, I wish more guys would ditch the black and white combo, and try wearing other colors in that kind of event.

Anyway, a few weeks ago, someone tried to hack my Instagram account, and unfortunately I had to create another account because I can’t open the registered e-mail address because I forgot the answer of my security question, so if you haven’t followed my new Instagram account, here’s the link. And by the way, please like the facebook page of my online store. Thank you!

So, tomorrow is the start of the second term of this school year, and I guess I’ll be busy again because of my portfolio class, but I’ll try my best to update my blog and squeeze in some events.

And oh, Christmas is just around the corner and this morning our neighbor is already playing Christmas songs! Wow! Time to save some cha-ching! Haha!

Enjoy your week and the remaining days of 2014! :)
